Italian Street Food For Everyone
Pronto 478 opened on 18 July 2026 at 478 Centre Road, Bentleigh — the newest venue from the family behind Shop225 and Il Caminetto. The bet this time is different: bringing authentic Roman street food into everyday Australian life, with a fast, accessible format and every dish under $25.
The star of the menu is Il Sorriso — a half-moon named for its smiling shape, filled with everything from porchetta to mortadella, with vegetarian and vegan versions too. Alongside it: pizza al taglio, arancini, fried calamari, pasta fritta, eggplant parmigiana, and by night, thin and crispy Roman-style pizza — with official APR (Associazione Pizza Romana) certification already underway.
Like Shop225, Pronto 478 is built around the "Food for Everyone" philosophy: traditional, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, prepared with the same care for quality that made our sister venue Australia's Best Pizza.
